On 23rd and 24th March 2023, PT Medical partnered with OrbusNeich to host a workshop on peripheral intervention at Thong Nhat Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City.
The objective of the workshop entitled “Peripheral Arterial Disease Treatments” aimed to support and provide opportunities for Health Care Professionals who have keen interest in Endovascular Intervention pertaining to Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) / Hemodialysis Access Management (HAM).
During the workshop, Orbus Neich invited Dr. Darryl Lim from Singapore to share his insights on “Treatment Strategies and Multidisciplinary Approach to BTK/BTA Intervention in CLTI” and to discuss PTA cases at Changi General Hospital.
After the sharing session, Dr. Darryl Lim and Vietnamese doctors proceeded to treat some patients at Thong Nhat Hospital. These cases included 3 cases of arteriovenous fistula (AVF) for kidney dialysis patients and 2 cases of peripheral intervention (PTA). These cases were all successfully resolved and effective for the patients.
Both Dr. Nguyen Duy Tan and Dr. Nguyen Bach were satisfied with the good collaboration with Dr. Darryl Lim and appreciative for his expertise and advice on both Peripheral Arterial Disease and Hemodialysis Access Management to CTVS team in Thong Nhat Hospital.
