PT Medical Company, in collaboration with Kaneka and the Department of Diagnostic Imaging at Cho Ray Hospital, successfully organized the scientific conference “UPDATES ON TECHNICAL ADVANCEMENTS IN NEUROVASCULAR INTERVENTION” on February 20, 2025, at Cho Ray Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City.
The conference was honored to welcome two distinguished experts from Japan: M.D. Ph.D. Yasunobu Nakai and M.D. Ph.D. Taisuke Akimoto from Yokohama University Hospital. In addition, it was attended by M.D. Ph.D. Le Van Phuoc, Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Diagnostic Imaging Association (Former Head of the Diagnostic Imaging Department at Cho Ray Hospital), and Specialist Level II MD. Nguyen Huynh Nhạt Tuan, Head of the Diagnostic Imaging Department at Cho Ray Hospital, along with numerous physicians from hospitals in Ho Chi Minh City and surrounding regions.

The conference focused on the latest updates in neurovascular intervention techniques, sharing experiences, advantages, and effectiveness of the i-ED coil—a metallic embolization coil developed by Kaneka and distributed by PT Medical Company in the market, including Cho Ray Hospital.

In addition to thematic discussions, representatives from Kaneka and PT Medical Company prepared product models of the i-ED coil and the EDGv4 coil-Detachment system, allowing doctors to experience firsthand their unique features and effectiveness. This hands-on session enabled attendees to gain valuable insights and practical knowledge for future clinical applications.
