The QXMédical Boosting Catheter is an over-the-wire support/guiding catheter with an atraumatic tip. The catheter is used in combination with guiding catheters or sheaths in interventional procedures to assist with delivery of other interventional devices (including guidewires) and procedural fluids to the coronary and peripheral vasculature. The catheter is offered in four (4) sizes compatible with 5.5Fr, 6Fr, 7Fr and 8Fr guiding catheters or 5Fr, 5.5Fr, 6Fr and 7Fr sheaths. The catheter is used in conjunction with standard length guidewires up to 0.035″ (0.89mm) diameter while accessing the peripheral
vasculature and with guidewires up to 0.014″ (0.36mm) diameter while accessing the coronary vasculature. The catheter is 150cm long comprised of a 125cm long manipulation shaft connected to a 25cm distal tube segment. The distal tube segment has a proprietary hydrophilic coating
